DARK Smart Gel №1 Clear is a professional medium-thick hard gel designed for strengthening, nail extensions and repairs. The transparent formula is comfortable to work with on both short and long nails and provides strong, durable structure without becoming brittle.
The gel has a slightly thinner consistency than traditional hard gels while remaining firm after curing. It is easy to control during application, suitable for pinching and works well with upper forms. The clear shade is especially versatile for natural-looking strengthening, transparent designs and as a structural layer under colour.

How to Use
Perform a manicure, buff and dehydrate the nail, then apply Dehydrator and Ultrabond.
Apply a thin layer of clear DARK Scotch Base using rubbing motions and cure for 60 seconds.
Strengthen, repair or extend the nail with DARK Smart Gel №1 Clear.
Cure for 60–120 seconds in an original DARK lamp. Curing time may vary depending on the thickness of the material.
If necessary, remove the sticky layer and file the nail.
Apply a top coat and cure for 120 seconds.
Application Tips
When working with upper forms, the gel can be flash cured for easier control.
Pinching can be performed after approximately 12–15 seconds of curing.
Intermediate curing can be started from around 15 seconds.
Avoid applying the gel too deeply under the cuticle; keep the transition smooth and thin near the cuticle area.
When strengthening natural nails, file away at least 1 mm of the natural nail from underneath the free edge to help reduce lifting.
When using a base from another brand, removing its sticky layer before applying Smart Gel is recommended.
More transparent SMART GEL shades are generally harder.
If the gel becomes too thick in a cold room, warm only the amount needed for application on a palette.
Use a low-power curing mode if necessary and remove the hand from the lamp if excessive heat is felt.
