The Staleks Pro Smart 30 NS 30-4 professional cuticle nippers are designed for trimming cuticles and rough skin during classic trimming and combination manicures/pedicures. Hand-sharpened with a radius profile, they trim cuticles precisely and cleanly, leaving no burrs or uneven areas.

The Staleks PRO SMART 30 NS-30-4 cuticle nippers are part of the professional series and can be frequently sterilized and disinfected without losing their effectiveness.

The Staleks Smart 30 NS-30-4 professional cuticle nippers have straight, 4 mm cutting edges. They are sharpened under a microscope on diamond wheels to ensure a smooth, neat cut without nicks or burrs during manicures. Once sharpened, the tool remains sharp for a long time, even under heavy use. The cutting edge has a protrusion ("heel") above the hinge plane, making it easy to handle leather of varying thicknesses and make deeper cuts.

The Staleks Pro Smart 30 NS-30-4 professional skin nippers feature rounded, shortened handles for comfortable use, easily securing them between your fingers and the palm of your hand. The tool is non-slip and requires minimal effort to grip, reducing hand fatigue even under heavy use.

The Staleks Smart 30 nippers' spring consists of a twisted, removable coil, which provides a smooth stroke. It closes easily, allowing you to control the pressure applied and the precision of the cut. The hinges operate smoothly, distributing the load evenly between the handles.

The nippers are made of high-alloy stainless surgical steel. This durable metal with a high chromium content is resistant to deformation and wear, even with intensive use. Steel cutting edges retain their sharpness for long-lasting results, ensuring precise and accurate cutting without unnecessary effort.

The metal is resistant to water and chemicals. The Staleks Pro Smart 30 surface is polished to a high shine in two stages: on a flap wheel with a grit size to remove roughness, then with GOI paste to add gloss and corrosion protection. This is followed by tumble finishing—a high-tech grinding process—and sandblasting to achieve a matte finish. The matte finish is scratch-resistant, and any marks are barely noticeable. The nippers are pleasant to the touch and have a stylish and attractive appearance.

Instrument cleaning:

Professional nail clippers must be cleaned and disinfected after each use. For the safety of the technician and clients, it is important to keep the work surface clean and follow all disinfection and sterilization procedures. Gloves and masks should also be worn. Let's review the processing steps step by step.

Step 1. Disinfection. This is performed to destroy pathogenic and opportunistic microorganisms, as well as to reduce the number of fungal spores. To do this, immerse the nippers in a disinfectant solution, such as Staleks Pro disinfectant. Then follow the solution manufacturer's instructions. Typical processing time is 15-30 minutes. When purchasing disinfectants, it's best to choose those whose instructions indicate activity against hepatitis B and C viruses, as well as ringworm. Disinfection can be combined with washing in special devices to remove blood and dirt particles using vibration.

Step 2. Washing. To remove any remaining chemical solution, rinse the tool with water and a special detergent by hand or use a washing machine. Use special brushes with plastic bristles on hinges and other joints, carefully handling the cutting parts. An ultrasonic cleaner is also suitable for cleaning.

Step 3. Drying. To dry, carefully lay the nippers open, cutting edge up, on disposable paper towels, then place them in kraft paper bags. The tools must be completely dry, as any residual moisture can cause corrosion during subsequent sterilization.

Step 4. Sterilization. Destroys not only bacteria but also viruses and fungal spores. Follow the sterilizer manufacturer's instructions.

Solution. Sterilization can be physical or chemical. Physical sterilization involves hot sterilization, using high temperatures in steam equipment (autoclave) or dry-air sterilization (dry-heat sterilization), while chemical sterilization involves cold sterilization, using specialized chemical solutions.

Sterilization and Disinfection Recommendations:

Despite the anti-corrosion coating on Staleks Pro nippers, they should not be soaked in water for extended periods of time, as this will reduce their corrosion protection.

Use a disinfectant designed for metal instruments. Do not use aggressive substances such as acetone or alkali on instruments.
Use a special container for chemically aggressive agents. The disinfectant solution should cover the nippers by at least 1 cm. The concentration and holding time are indicated on the disinfectant packaging.
After disinfection, thoroughly clean the nippers of any remaining solution, as this may cause corrosion.
After sterilization, leave the instrument in a dry heat sterilizer or autoclave until it cools completely, as sudden temperature changes can damage the physical properties of the steel, requiring sharpening more frequently.
Fill the sterilizer 70% full, avoiding blocking the ventilation openings. Stack the kraft paper bags in a single layer.
After sterilization, check the external indicators, which will change color if the sterilization process is successful. Open and remove the sterile instrument directly in front of the client.
How to check the cutting quality of the instrument

The sharpness of the Smart series skin nippers is tested on film.

Prepare the material on which the cutting will be tested. Make sure it is even and sufficiently taut.
Take the nail nippers you want to test in your working hand. Open them and hold them against the material as you would when trimming the nail plate or cutting cuticles. Place the material between the cutting edges, starting from the tip and extending to the desired sharpening length of the working part, and begin making a smooth cut with the nippers. Apply light pressure. Make sure the tool does not snag and makes a smooth, even cut.
Repeat the process to ensure the result is correct. Make sure the cut is clean and smooth.
If the cut is smooth and even, the tool is suitable for use.
If the nippers snag or the cut is uneven, replace them or take them to a service center for sharpening.

How to Care for Your Tool

How you use, clean, and store your nippers affects their durability, edge sharpness, and susceptibility to corrosion. To keep your manicure tool sharp and in good working order for as long as possible, it is essential to properly care for it.

Storing the Tool:

Use the nippers for their intended purpose (nail trimming or cuticle removal, respectively) when performing classic trimming and combination manicures/pedicures. We recommend avoiding using the tool for other purposes, as this will dull the blades and weaken the hinge.

After cleaning, it is recommended to lubricate the hinges to maintain smooth operation and prevent friction and jamming. Apply a few drops of oil, then perform squeezing and releasing movements, after which the tool can be stored in an airtight container. Remove any remaining oil with a clean cloth.

Store the nail nippers in a dry, clean place, in a special tool case, box, or sterile craft bags to keep them clean and prevent dulling from touching the edges of other metal tools and objects. Sterile tools can be stored in a UV cabinet.

When storing, position the nippers with the blades facing up.

The tool has an unlimited service life if transport, storage, and use conditions are met.

Store the nippers in a dry place, out of the reach of children.

Avoid dropping the tool on hard surfaces or allowing it to come into contact with corrosive substances.
